Local Police Support Penn State Children’s Hospital

This month officers from the Fairview Township Police Department visited Penn State Children’s Hospital in Hershey to celebrate a very special milestone. In honor of No-Shave November, they raised $7,065 for Children’s Miracle Network Hershey!

Over 13 officers set online fundraisers on CMNHershey.org and gathered donations for Children’s Miracle Network. They took the money they would have spent on razors, shaving supplies and grooming for the entire month of November and donated to CMN Hershey. They also invited family and friends in their community to support their cause and give the #Giftofgrowingup.

Some fundraising events were held as well to reach their goal of $7,000. Miracle Child Joella was able to cheer on officer Chad during a pull-up contest and then take a tour of their squad cars. Thank you to the Fairview Township Police Department for helping give kids in central PA the #GiftofGrowingUp!
