Shop at Giant this week and help kids at Penn State Children’s Hospital

This week, Giant shoppers can purchase a $1 Miracle Balloon to help kids like Molly from Lancaster, who is the featured Miracle Child on this year’s balloon. The balloon also includes $2 in coupons for a variety of products in-store!

Molly’s journey with Penn State Children’s Hospital began after she turned two and had trouble walking. She was diagnosed with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis, which was eventually controlled with oral medication. After several years of good health, Molly was diagnosed with a newer type of eating disorder called Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder. Her treatment at Penn State Children’s Hospital’s Teen and Disorder Clinic included music, art and pet therapy, support groups for parents and follow-up care. Today, Molly is doing well! She loves to sing, especially the national anthem at local baseball games.

Giant has been a proud partner of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals for 21 years and has raised more than $10 million to fund equipment, research and programs at Penn State Children’s Hospital.
