Clifford Goes Home After Three Years In Hospital

Clifford, who is almost three, went home from Penn State Children’s Hospital yesterday for the first time in his life. He was born at 27 weeks with severe bronchopulmonary dysplasia, which is a form of chronic lung disease. To celebrate his discharge,  doctors, nurses, child life specialists, physical & respiratory therapists, music therapists and many others who have worked so hard to help Clifford get to this point, gathered outside his room to wish him and his family well. Because nearly every department was involved in Clifford’s care, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals was too. CMNH funds support Child Life, music therapy, the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and the Hummingbird Program, which provides comprehensive care for children complex medical conditions.

Clifford is proof that when we are inspired together, miracles happen!
