REMAX Brings Holiday Cheer to Patients

Christmas came early to pediatric patients at Penn State Children’s Hospital thanks to the generosity of REMAX Realty Professionals in Harrisburg, PA. Rob, Brad, and the agents of REMAX Realty Professionals donated dozens of toys to children of all ages to enjoy during their hospital stay over the holidays.

The gifts are given to our Child Life team who then will distribute the toys to patients and their siblings. The Child Life program, which is supported by Children’s Miracle Network, promotes the positive development of children, teens, and families by providing age-appropriate programming to build coping skills and reduce emotional distress. Watch a Child Life specialist use toys in our Pediatric Emergency Department to help patients cope during their stay.

In addition to this toy donation, local REMAX offices raised nearly $10,000 for Penn State Children’s Hospital in 2016 through various fundraisers including the Miracle Home® and Miracle Property programs, where Associates can make a contribution to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals with each closed transaction.
