Pay 4 Play 2025 Sets New Fundraising Record at $404K

The 19th annual People’s Pay 4 Play on WQXA-FM 105.7 THE X, held Nov. 20 and 21, raised $404,895.63 for Children’s Miracle Network at Penn State Health Golisano Children’s Hospital, surpassing last year’s record and pushing this beloved community tradition over the $4 million mark. With this year’s total, Pay 4 Play has now raised $4,218,608 across 19 years, a milestone made possible by the generosity of listeners, sponsors, community fundraisers and Miracle Families.

The Morning Show team—Nipsey, Jen Shade, and Vince—led the 28-hour broadcast, encouraging listeners to donate in exchange for hearing their song requests on air. Throughout the event, community partners announced their annual fundraising totals, and patients and families shared personal stories about their medical journeys and the care they received at Golisano Children’s Hospital.

“This year reflects a community united by one mission: giving kids the gift of growing up,” said Katie Anderson, director of Children’s Miracle Network. “The stories shared during Pay 4 Play highlight the critical role the Children’s Hospital plays for families across our region and beyond. Thanks to the commitment of The People’s Morning Show, our partners and every individual who gave, we can continue investing in advanced equipment, child-centered programs, and groundbreaking research. These gifts truly empower children to heal, grow and experience all the moments that make childhood possible.”
