Celebrating an Inspirational Partnership with The Hershey Company

Children’s Miracle Network is pleased to spotlight our ongoing partnership with The Hershey Company, whose commitment to patients and families at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital continues to make a meaningful difference in our community.

Here are some of their incredible efforts from 2024:

Miracle Egg Scramble

Despite rainy weather, The Hershey Company’s annual community egg scramble at Hersheypark Stadium was a shining success. Volunteers filled hundreds of eggs with candy and surprises, creating beautiful baskets that delighted children and families while raising $4,765 in vital funds for children’s health initiatives.

The 21st Annual Hershey Miracle 5K

This year’s Miracle 5K on the Milton Hershey School campus raised more than $98,000 for the Children’s Hospital, bringing together families, participants, and sponsors. Miracle Child Joella shared her inspiring story, rallying the crowd and celebrating the community’s shared commitment to the gift of growing up.

The 35th Annual Hershey Miracle Golf Tournament

A picture-perfect day set the stage for The Hershey Company’s 35th annual golf tournament, which raised more than $419,000 for the Children’s Hospital. Miracle Child Kyle and Miracle Child Harper participated, adding a heartfelt touch to an already memorable event that underlined the power of teamwork and collaboration.

Employee Game Day

The Hershey Company brought innovation to fundraising with their Employee Game Day, donating more than $3,700 to the Children’s Hospital. Employees from across multiple locations were invited to spend a portion of their day playing video and board games, engaging in friendly competition while gaming for good through CMN’s Extra Life program.

Festive Chocolate House

To wrap up the year, The Hershey Company sponsored employee volunteer hours to help build the gorgeous Holiday Chocolate House inside Hershey’s Chocolate World. The 2024 masterpiece – a replica of Hershey’s fire station – is decorated entirely with Hershey’s chocolate and candy. It spreads holiday cheer, while supporting the trusted care and groundbreaking research at the Children’s Hospital. This year, the Chocolate House raised more than $5,000.

Looking Ahead

As we celebrate the accomplishments of 2024, we are reminded of the power of partnerships. We’re excited to continue this journey as we create even greater impacts in the years ahead!

Thank you, The Hershey Company, for being a champion for children, families, and care teams in our community.
