Tabletop Weekend Brings Community Together in Hershey

Extra Life proudly brought the gaming community together for an inspiring and unforgettable Tabletop Weekend in Hershey on April 12 and 13! For two full days, attendees of all ages immersed themselves in board games, card tournaments, and thrilling adventures that engaged gamers in friendly competition and plenty of memorable moments.

We were also happy to welcome several Miracle Families, who joined in the excitement and helped make the event even more meaningful.

“As our inaugural Tabletop Weekend, this event was more than a celebration of games – it was an introduction to something greater. We were thrilled to welcome so many new faces and show how gaming for good can bring a community together and create real impact,” said Katie Anderson, director of Children’s Miracle Network at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital.

In partnership with local favorites Gather Your Party Games, The Nerd Place, and The Bodhana Group, the weekend featured a series of engaging tournaments that balanced both competition and community spirit. Our heartfelt thanks go out to our Power Hour sponsors, D&H Cares and Mythical Meats, for powering up the excitement! 

Participants also scored exclusive incentives, including custom dice from our friends at CuriouserCreative – a fan favorite! 

Special shout-out to Dillsburg Game Night and all the Extra Lifers who joined us from afar.

Together with our incredible community, Extra Life raised $9,955 in support of patients and families at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital.
