Runners brave cold and wind to make miracles!

The Hershey Half Marathon was held Sunday, October 21 in Hershey. Proceeds benefit Children’s Miracle Network at Penn State Children’s Hospital. Runners made their way through Hersheypark and downtown Hershey on the chilly and blustery day. Miracle Children gathered near mile 12 to cheer on the participants in the final stretch. Thank you to Hershey Entertainment & Resorts for organizing the event and thanks to all of the race participants, sponsors, volunteers and Miracle Families! This event has raised more than $1 million in 8 years. We can’t wait to hear the 2018 total.

Miracle Child Tyler (right) kicked off the race and his parents ran in his honor. Tyler was hospitalized at Penn State Children’s Hospital for six months due to a life-threatening E.coli infection.
