Rite Aid Saves Lives

Rite Aid’s 2020 balloon icon campaign for Penn State Children’s Hospital is underway! Donate at the register to help pediatric patients like Miracle Child Emmett who gets all of his medication at his local Rite Aid in Gettysburg. Emmett was a micro-preemie born at 26 weeks. He has dwarfism, chronic lung disease, a heart condition and developmental delays.

His mom, April, shares “Rite Aid is our main go to for all of Emmett’s medications. We actually live next door and love all of the associates there. Our pharmacy team are absolute all-stars and know who he is as soon as we come in. From making sure we have everything to even giving me reminders of what is going to be refilled soon. They always check and double check with him being on so much and new things being added to make sure we won’t have any problems or reactions. Our store particularly does really well with selling the balloons for CMN and we always, always tell them thank you. We won’t go anywhere else!!”
